Enterprise

Cypher AI Enterprise: ELN and LIMS in your own cloud

A dedicated cloud deployment of the Cypher AI ELN, LIMS, analysis tools and agent, in your own cloud account, in the region you choose. A forward-deployed engineer sets it up with your team.

Enterprise starts at $25K per year.

What's included

What does Cypher AI Enterprise include?

The same ELN, LIMS, analysis tools and agent as Pro, plus four things a larger R&D organization needs.

Your own cloud deploymentSingle-tenant, in its own cloud account, separate from the shared app at cypherbio.ai.
Data residencyRuns in the US, the EU or mainland China, so your lab's data stays in the region you choose.
Your sign-in, your modelsSSO for your team, and only the AI providers you approve, down to a single one.
A forward-deployed engineerSets up your workflows, LIMS fields and data integrations with you, with priority support.

Data residency

Where can Cypher AI Enterprise run?

Cypher AI runs dedicated deployments today in the US, the EU and mainland China. You pick the region, and you can limit the agent to AI models served there.

RegionCloudAI models available
United StatesAWSAnthropic Claude and OpenAI GPT models
European UnionAWSClaude through Amazon Bedrock, served in the EU. OpenAI models aren't served in the EU today, so you can switch them off
Mainland ChinaAlibaba CloudQwen models, served in mainland China

Operations

Can you self-host Cypher AI or run it on-premises?

No. Cypher AI Enterprise is cloud-deployed: it runs in your own cloud account, not on servers in your building, and our engineers operate it for you.

Your cloud account, our operations. Cypher AI's engineers deploy each Enterprise deployment, apply updates and monitor it. Your IT team doesn't have to run servers or upgrade software.

Single-tenant. Each deployment has its own servers, database, file storage and sign-in, and no other customer's data is in it. The cloud account can be one your organization already owns, which keeps its own administrators, or a separate account set up for your deployment.

In use today. A top-10 pharma company runs design of experiments on its own single-tenant deployment, with one model provider and no analytics.

Built the same way each time. New deployments are built from the same infrastructure code, so each one starts with the controls below rather than a hand-built server.

Security

How is a Cypher AI Enterprise deployment secured?

Cypher AI holds a SOC 2 Type II report. Each new deployment on AWS starts with these controls.

ControlWhat it covers
SOC 2 Type IIThe audit report and the controls behind it are in the Cypher Trust Portal.
DatabaseRecords live in the deployment's own MongoDB Atlas database cluster, encrypted at rest.
Private serversApp servers have no public IP address. Traffic reaches them through Amazon CloudFront and a web application firewall.
EncryptionRecords, files and server disks are encrypted at rest. Server disks use a key held in the deployment's own cloud account. Connections use TLS 1.2 or higher.
Threat detectionAmazon GuardDuty, AWS Config, Security Hub and Inspector watch the account.
Audit logsAccount activity logs (CloudTrail) and security findings are kept for six years.
Product analyticsCan be switched off for the whole deployment, as on deployments that handle patient data.
AI providersThe agent uses only the providers you approve for the deployment.
For a deployment on Alibaba Cloud in mainland China, ask us about the equivalent controls.

Traceable records

How does Cypher AI keep lab records traceable?

The ELN, LIMS, analysis tools and pipelines share one record. A result traces back to the samples it came from and the ELN entry that describes the work.

AI-assistedThe agent asks firstIt proposes LIMS records, protocols and widgets as a plan. With the default setting, nothing is saved until you approve.
CoreA LIMS shaped to your scienceYour own material types, fields, plate layouts and workflows. Every sample traces back to its source.
CoreSign-off in the ELNRequired signatures from one to ten reviewers, entries that lock during review, and version history.
CoreA full change historyWho changed each record, when and what changed, and deleted records you can recover.

Part 11–style audit trails and e-signature workflows. Whether a process meets 21 CFR Part 11 depends on your own validation, so talk to us about your assessment.

Plans

How is Enterprise different from Pro?

Both include the ELN, LIMS, analysis tools and agent. Enterprise changes where Cypher AI runs and who helps you set it up.

FAQ

Questions about Cypher AI Enterprise.

Where is our data stored on Cypher AI Enterprise?

In the cloud account and region you choose, in the US, the EU or mainland China. The deployment runs in that region, and you can limit the agent to AI models served there, such as Claude through Amazon Bedrock in the EU.

Can Cypher AI be installed on-premises?

No. Cypher AI Enterprise is a cloud deployment: a single-tenant copy of the platform in your own cloud account, in the region you choose, operated by Cypher AI's engineers. It isn't installed on servers in your own data center.

Does Cypher AI train AI models on our data?

No. Cypher AI doesn't use customer data to train AI models, its own or any third party's. On Enterprise, you also choose which AI providers the agent can use, down to a single provider.

Does Cypher AI support 21 CFR Part 11 workflows?

Cypher AI supports Part 11–style workflows: required electronic signatures in the ELN, entries that lock during review, and a record of every change with who made it and when. Whether a process meets Part 11 depends on your own validation, so talk to us about your assessment.

Can Cypher AI be used with patient data?

Institutions with patient-privacy requirements run Cypher AI on dedicated deployments with product analytics switched off and security logs kept for six years. Talk to us about your HIPAA requirements before storing protected health information.

How much does Cypher AI Enterprise cost?

Enterprise starts at $25K per year. It includes your own deployment with data residency, SSO, permissions and compliance controls, custom data integrations, a forward-deployed engineer with priority support, and discounted professional services. Pro, on the shared app, is $100 per user a month.

What happens to our data if we leave Cypher AI?

You can take it with you. LIMS readings export to CSV, Excel or Parquet, ELN entries export to PDF, and LIMS records are available through the REST API.

Is Cypher AI Enterprise for academic institutions?

Yes. Enterprise suits research institutes and academic medical centers that need their own deployment, data residency or SSO. Individual academic labs and core facilities can start with the Cypher AI Academic Program instead.
