What is the Cypher AI Startup Program?
The Cypher AI Startup Program gives early-stage biotech teams the full Pro plan, with the ELN, LIMS, analysis tools and AI agent, at a stepped rate. The first 90 days are free. After that, Pro is $25 per user a month for year one, 75% off the $100 list price, then $50 for year two and the list price from year three. Billing is yearly, and there is no implementation fee.
Who can join the Cypher AI Startup Program?
Biotech and life-science companies qualify if they have 20 or fewer scientists, have raised under $30M, and are new Cypher AI customers. Teams on the Free plan can apply. Larger or later-stage companies referred by a partner incubator, accelerator or venture fund can qualify too, case by case. Startups that need Enterprise, and later-stage companies, get custom discounted Enterprise pricing. Academic and core labs have their own Academic Program, and CROs and service providers list their services on the Marketplace.
What happens when the 90 free days end?
Your first paid year starts, at $25 per user a month, billed yearly. Cypher AI emails your workspace admin 30 days and 7 days before the free period ends and before each yearly price step. If you don't continue after the free period, the workspace moves to the Free plan, and your data stays in place and can be exported.
How long does it take to set up Cypher AI?
Setting up Cypher AI takes about an afternoon. On a free onboarding call, the agent brings your sample spreadsheets into the LIMS and you approve each change before it saves. You can write your first ELN entry the same day. There is no implementation project and no implementation fee.
Is there a limit on AI usage?
AI usage is subject to Cypher AI's fair use policy, and Cypher AI may limit how much AI a team uses.

Teams on the Free plan can apply. Teams that already pay for Cypher AI keep the price they have today; the Startup Program is for new customers.
